In 2016, Prestige Hospitality hired Virtually Managed to provide Business Support services from email management to invoicing and responding to customer enquiries. Virtually Managed was hired to fill a role and reduce the workload of existing staff.
In 2017, Prestige Hospitality upgraded to the Business Management plan. Virtually Managed was charged with the responsibility of overseeing the daily running of the business, strategising with the Managing Director and executing growth and expansion plans.

About the company
Micah’s Meals, an online company offering cook books for toddlers and young children, came to us for support in 2016 and we were only too pleased to help.
Amaka Benson, the author of Micah’s Meals lives in Geneva. Due to her e-commerce store’s success and subsequent growth, she needed our help to source warehouse space and run the order management and distribution system for Micah’s Meals in Nigeria. Once an order was placed on the Micah’s Meals website, the backend was handled by Virtually Managed. On receiving the order, we would package, label up and efficiently distribute it. We would also deal with customer email enquiries as well as any returns and exchanges where needed.
Additionally, Micah’s Meals relied on us to keep the business running smoothly in terms of stock management and accounting. This meant assisting with bookkeeping, inventories and stock checking, plus the management of stockists.
Micah’s Meals products were sold in a number of bookshops in Nigeria. Virtually Managed was responsible for it all, and we were proud to help.
In 2018, the Micah’s Meals range had expanded to include learning accessories. Virtually Managed was selected to continue supporting this growth, and to handle distribution of these products across the globe.

A well-established media brand headquartered in Lagos, Bella Naija came to us with a custom order requirement.
The company had heard about Virtually Managed’s success and headhunted us to come in and set up HR policies and procedures as the company had none in place already.
This was something we were only too pleased to assist with, after all, it’s something we have a huge amount of experience in. All scenarios were covered by us and multiple policies were then implemented. Everything from sickness-related issues to pay and disputes were all now documented and backed up by fair, efficient procedures drawn up by us.
